Until was written for the St. Barnabas Episcopal Choir during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. Our choir practices, like so many others throughout the world, had to be abruptly canceled for safety reasons.

While it is incredibly frustrating and disheartening to be unable to express our joys and sorrows through music in a group setting, it is important to keep people as safe as possible. That way, when it is safe for us to meet again, we’ll be able to tell our stories through music. This piece was written with love for the choir to perform remotely for the Feast of St.. Barnabas.
