Somebody Said That

Choral, SAT, piano, opt. shaker
Words by, Edgar Guest (1881-1959)

Somebody Said That was written for the Brame Middle School choir, Les Voix. The text was chosen for its positive message of perseverance. The words were penned by Edgar Guest, and the message is to continue on even if others tell you something cannot be done. Everything has to be done a first time, and often people will say something cannot be done - until it is! You can be the first person to do it if you don’t let the negativity of others get you down.

Fast-paced and energetic, the music includes piano accompaniment and optional shaker.
