Her Gift
Choral, SSA, and piano
Words by, Sara Ellen Tandy (1885-1961)
Her Gift is a poem about someone who laments the fact that they have no discernible gifts to offer. They cannot sing or paint or tell stories that uplift others. Their friend is amazed to hear this lament because they have never missed these "gifts" in their friend.
Their gift is being the "perfect friend."
